Computer Lab
The worlds of Information Technology and related subjects have made tremendous studies and our school is not lagging behind in training the students appropriately. With the active participation of school management, PTA and IT @ School two computer labs, i.e. one for High School section with23 computers and printers and another for UP section with 7 computers and printers have been established. This has resulted in great impetus in the training programme. |

E-Learning Lab
Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School has introduced modern techniques to educate the children with the
lavish financial assistance from MP’s fund of Shri. K. Suresh Kurup M.P all necessary equipments were acquired. This Edju Lab, which is very useful for both teachers and students, is functioning excellently. |

Social science lab This lab enables us to feel the pulse of our planet earth. Various study materials such as geographic maps globes,atlases,charts,coins,stamps models of historic monuments etc.are abundantly available here. Maps in use are of two kinds namely large scale maps and small scale maps, the first depicting a small area elaborately and the later giving important features of a large area. Students get aquatinted with these equipments and use it in the classrooms. The exposure of the students to these materials creates curiosity and eagerness in them to acquire more knowledge in Geography and History and also evoking interest in hobby like numismatic and philately |

Co- operative Society No. K.495
Mount Carmel Girls High School Co- Operative Society was started on 16th march 1976.Head Mistress Sr. Rachel and Sr. Viola were the first president and secretary. 35 teachers were ‘A’ class shareholders. 13 students had taken ‘B’ class shares. A governing committee for a period of 3 years was formed. Now all the teachers are ‘A’ class shareholders and all the students from standard 5 to 10 are ‘B’ class shareholders. At present HM Mrs. Aleyamma Antony is the president and Mrs. Rosamma P.M is the secretary of the society. The major work under taken by the society is to ensure that Textbooks and Notebooks required by students are supplied to them at the right time. With the unstinted co-operation of all concerned the society is functioning admirably.
In subsequent years the H.M was president and Mrs. Mary Jacob, Mrs. Marykutty John, Mrs. Metilda Augustine were secretaries. |
